Christmas at Sea Program Manager Paige Sato visited “Close-knit,” a weekly meeting of knitters at Staten Island’s Noble Maritime Collection. Their years of dedication have resulted in “boxes and boxes” of cozy hats, scarves, and vests, which warm seafarers’ bodies and souls all winter.
