Seamen’s Church Institute chaplains delivered hundreds of Easter gift bags containing a devotional, Bibles, sweets, and other small toiletry items for seafarers during Lent and Holy Week.
To welcome a sojourner at Easter with a gift of prayer, sweets, and something practical is an outward sign of an abiding commitment to hospitality. Easter-at-Sea allows Christians to reach out beyond their congregation to share the profound joy of the Resurrection. Perhaps your Sunday School would like to make a hand made Easter card. If so visit our
Children's Service Project.
