Mariners’ Sundays provide opportunities to share our work with congregations through either an available set of resources, or a visit by one of the members of the Ministry on the River staff members. It is a time when all members of the family of faith, are invited to learn more of our efforts to share God’s love on our inland waterways and to provide pastoral care to mariners and their families. It is also a time to learn of the invaluable and also sometimes dangerous work that the inland mariner does, and the service they provide to our nation and economy.
