Church groups are invited to “Kaibigan” (friend, in Tagalog, a dialect of the Philippines) evening on the last Friday of every month at SCI's Seafarers’ Center. Church members, along with representatives from the local Filipino community, meet seafarers and take part in worship and activities such as playing Bingo, karaoke, or decorating Easter eggs. In addition to being part of God’s call to love your neighbor, it is a time for Americans to extend their legendary open arms to those from foreign shores.
